The useful part of a translation is often what it had to give up. An idiom with no equivalent, a level of formality the other language marks differently, a word carrying cultural weight that simply does not exist on the other side — a plain translation hides all of it.
This gives the translation and then explains those choices, which is what makes it a learning tool rather than a black box. Where a phrase genuinely cannot be rendered cleanly, it says so and offers the closest options with what each one loses. Set the register, because Bangla and English mark formality in different places and a translation that is accurate word for word can still be wrong in tone for a job application or an exam answer.
