AI IELTS Essay Feedback
About this tool
Feedback against all four public criteria, with the two changes that would raise your score most.
Practising IELTS writing without feedback mostly rehearses whatever you already do wrong. The criteria are published, but applying them to your own essay is the part that is genuinely hard.
Paste the question and your essay and get comments against each of the four public criteria — task achievement, coherence and cohesion, lexical resource, and grammatical range and accuracy — quoting your own sentences rather than describing problems in the abstract. Then the two changes that would move your score most, since a list of fifteen small issues is not actionable the week before a test. Any band figure is indicative only: real marking is done by trained examiners, and no automated estimate should be treated as a score.
How to use
- Paste the exact task question and your full essay, then say whether it is Task 1 or Task 2
